Burglary Near You -Beldon Road |

Dear Resident
You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a sneak in burglary that occurred on Beldon Road, BD7 Thursday 13th August 0900hrs and 1015hrs.
Between the stated date and time, an unknown suspect gained entry to a property through an insecure/unlocked rear door. Once inside, the suspect stole a mobile phone that had been left on a table before making off from the address. Residents are reminded to ensure all doors and windows are locked and secured, even when at home, and to keep valuable items out of sight where possible.
Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it Thursday 13th August between 0845 and 1030 to check if you had any activations.
Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock.
Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police. Should you have any information about either burglary please contact us on 101. Thanks
